Activities For Kids
St. Agnes offers the perfect environment for a holiday in Cornwall. Safe and friendly with plenty to explore in a relatively compact area.
We are particularly suited to those familise that like the great outdoors, with body-boarding, cycling, skating, rock-pooling and woodland walks all available.
For older kids or rainy days, larger indoor and themed attractions are only a short drive or bus-rde away when you fancy a day-trip.
But instead of taking our word for it, hear what some local children of varying ages told us they like to do in and around St. Agnes:
Erin (aged 5) from Porthtowan:
“I like the swings at the beach playground, and picnics with my family. Sometimes we go rock-pooling and find lots of little creatures like crabs. We put them in our bucket, but they always go back when we leave”
Tom (aged 10) from Mount Hawke:
“Sometimes me and my family go for long walks with the dog up to the Beacon and it's great because you can see for miles and miles. I like all the events that happen like the Bolster Festival with the big giant, and when they turn on the Christmas lights”
Isaac (aged 15) from St. Agnes:
“The skate park at Mount Hawke is pretty amazing, I go there to practice most weeks and sometimes they have films on in the evenings. Apart from that, I surf a lot with my friends and sometimes grab a milkshake in St. Agnes - the beaches around here are great”
